About Us

Steve Riley is an attorney, author, and nationally recognized instructor. His unique ability of innovation has led to the creation of the Your CorporateCounsel Advantage™. As the founder of The Strategic Counsel Law Firm, based out of Tampa, Florida, Steve has been practicing in the areas of business law, estate planning, and asset protection for over 18 years. Steve has created several unique practice models for estate planning, asset protection, and the Your CorporateCounsel Advantage™ for corporate planning. Steve has led national training programs on both legal/technical topics, as well as practice management, personal and financial growth, team building and goal setting. Steve is the creator of Your CorporateCounsel Advantage™ and leads training programs to attorneys who license the system.

Laney Chavis is the lead trainer of the Your CorporateCounsel Program™. She has worked with Steve Riley in The Strategic Counsel Law Firm for over 10 years as the Marketing Director and Client Relations Director. Laney has been involved in the creation of the Your CorporateCounsel Advantage™ from its infancy and created the Operations Manual to systemize the entire practice model. Her unique ability to understand how a service needs to be seen from a client's perspective, blended with what it takes to create a system to get the behind the scenes work done brings tremendous value to her training methods. Laney also brings experience in coaching professionals in implementation through her co-leading of the Key Assistant Program™, a national growth program for Key Assistants.
